A TRIBUTE TO PA MOLUKULE BY Ebala Patience Molukule

Aaaaaaaah!! Papa! I could not have believed it could be this soon. So you were indirectly telling me goodbye when you asked to see your namesake Molukule Jr. We spent Christmas and New Year together and I still saw life in you, papa. You told me you’d like to receive a medal this 20th May because of your undiluted love and very honest service with a clean record while serving in the Mundemba council, and I told you ‘it’s very possible Papa’. Your demise has broken me beyond understanding Papa. Oooooh papa!! I can’t thank you enough for everything. Thank you for always being my confidence, thank you for raising me up to be the woman I am today, thank you for your unconditional love, thank you for all the times you sacrificed to be with us and see us grow to almost independence. I can’t forget those moments in a hurry. You were a peacemaker who would always go the extra mile just to make peace even if it meant humiliating yourself. You’re the best counselor I have ever known and seen. Your words of wisdom since childhood is what most of the time kept me going. My inspiration to become a guidance counselor was drawn from you papa. You had an excellent sense of humor. Are we really going to hear phrases like ‘ a monkey with a carcass character? ‘ a scavenger of your cannibal.’ ‘You lebrer’ Most if not all can testify that there was never a dull moment with you papa. I learned a lot from you including politics, law, anthropology, sociology, and religion, just to name a few. Your patience and resilience were worth emulating. How I wish to copy half of your personality. You are the strongest human I have ever known. You battled with severe pains and still came out victoriously in all.
As you have traveled to the world beyond, may you continue to clear our path so that all of your offspring will continue to flourish as it has always been your utmost wish and forever prayer for us. I love you papa and will always do. May your precious soul rest in perfect Peace until we meet to part no more!
Your daughter- Bochia Ebala Patience Molukule.
